Loreens Village Cafe in Palm Bay

Sat down at noon took my order at 12:05 and watched people who came in after me get their food. I walked out at 12:27 with no food.

Good food but paid $10.00 for 2 sides of hollandaise sauce and had to listen to the kitchen complain about my even ordering it! $10.00!! Wow, and no price reductions were offered to me when I brought it to the attention of the manager. The only positive was the waitress! Never again!

Great service, but food not as much.

Worst experience I've had in brevard county, eggs weren't cooked properly, had black on them, home fries bare cooked through and inky warm, no cream cheese, and to to the it all off, I had hair in my food. I asked for a refund, they said only the owner can render refunds. (Hes prob never there). Will never go back

The Early Bird - yours truly - arrived at 7: first of a growing crowd. I craved for breakfast a three-egg swiss-and-mushroom omlett with a bowl of (double) grits on the side. All hot and freshly prepared and promptly served by a fine young lady, Breakfast was supplemented by Gator Hammock Gator Sauce (on the tables!) and black pepper and all the boiling coffee I could stand. Washed down my supplements and prescriptions with chilled tomato juice, read this week's "The Epoch Times", checked my phone and was on my way in just over an hour. A very warm, veteran's welcome and a homey, patriotic atmosphere complemented my fine start to another Florida fall day in the trenches.

Only the BEST little breakfast restaurant in town!! I'm sure the lunch is great too,but breakfast is my favorite.if I had one suggestion it would be add fried biscuits and apple butter.I'm from southern Indiana and I miss that.

Wow just wow...used to come in at least once a week. No frills comfort food. Recently started again every Sunday but I think I'm done. The mgr/ owner or whatever he is, is not only clueless running around like a chicken without his head on, but verbally disrespectful to his staff in front of customers. The energy in the place sucks now. Food is ok. The patriotic decor is greatly appreciated but doesn't feel remotely genuine with this guy running around. The place desperately needs a refresh.

My partner and I went into this mom and pop dinner. Before we entered we were able to chat with a cook who was extremely enthusiastic, helpful, and kind. Great start. He helped us decide what to eat before we even sat. The food was amazing and he was on point. The service was left to be desired. Waitress brought drinks, brought food, and brought check. The end. No life in her at all. I was brought the check before we were even half way done with our food and she never came back to check on us. Maybe I needed another drink but she coulda cared less. Not a smile on either waitress. For waiters who have been out of work for sometime she definitely didn't act like she needed any money. I still tipped 20% but frankly I will go back for the food. Not the service. And normally I tip really really well. Her loss. Please watch the people who interact with your customers cause you almost lost one

Great restaurant, great food, great atmosphere.

This place was great until the original owner sold the place and the new owners. Now it doesnt feel as homie and comfortable. The food has taken a dip due to the new owners changing things which i dont blame them it is their place they can make what they want.

Food has really gone down hill unfortunately.... 2 trys to get warm toast and they failed. Very sad.

New owner named Ken Sullivan is doing a good job running his restaurant. waitresses are great. food is good. energy is more positive now.

Love Loreens it's a great spot for good home cooked foods. No crazy additives, weird flavors or any of that. The price is right for everyone.

You will never find a more patriotic restaurant. If you don't respect our vets and active military, this would not be a good choice cause I'm quite sure any of the local vets in there every day will kick your .....! The food was nothing short of wonderful the service was fast and friendly and Loreen was just so friendly and down to earth! I loved it so much, I asked for a job when I move there in a year!

My favorite place! Amazing, i mean AMAZING food and AMAZING service and hospitality. No where else compares.

The service was absolutely fantastic, the waitresses were friendly and helpful to each other and stopped by often with refills. The decor is awesome, super patriotic and that's nice to see in this day and age where what the extreme & annoying vocal minority wants seems to dictate what the common sense majority gets. The place was packed for Sunday breakfast. The food was good, homey and the portions were good sized. This is a great little breakfast dive spot. Prices are also good. Our only concern was the kitchen being pretty slow. The waitress explained that they recently had a change of management and a bunch of the old employ quit so they are trying to train and replace back of house employees. We'll give Loreens a few weeks to work out the kinks and try again because everything else was great.

Excellent local Cafe. Service is friendly and quick, food is excellent! Closes at 2pm so breakfast and Lunch only. One of my new favorite places.
